j'ai recamment acheté une carte WinTV-PVR-350
pour l'instant la telecommande infrarouge marche
mais j'ai des problemes avec le tuner
il me semble pourtant avoir bien installé tous les drivers
le fichier /dev/video0 et je peux lire dedans est present mais quand je lance tvtime il me lance
videoinput: Card failed to allocate capture buffers: Invalid argument
et me dis que qu'il n'arive pas a ouvrir
en ragardant avec strace je vois

l'ecran reste bleu et je ne sais plus quoi faire |

mais ca me parrait bizarre, chez moi tvtime fonctionne bien (enfin j'utilise pas le tuner, mais l'entree coax reliee au decodeur) ...
dans le kernel t'as juste le driver bttv ?

TvTime c'est pour les bttv, les ivtv donnent du MPEG2

Pour voir l'image, il suffit de Mplayer :

le mieux pour ces cartes c'est MythTV (wiki).
Cela m'avait pris beaucoup de temps pour l'installer (beaucoup de pb avec les drivers ivtv). Mais bon c'est sympa quand cela fonctionne.
Reste que la j'ai laissé tomber, cela fait 3 mois que je ne l'ai pas lancé.

Tu as bien suprimé le modules msp3400 qui vient du noyau ?

Sinon moi j'ai deux trois paramètres en plus pour le chargement de modules.
Logiquement l'essentiel de ce code n'est plus indispensable (versions récentes de ivtv), mais bon il fonctionne chez moi. Alors si cela peut aider...

Pour être sur, tu lis bien avec mplayer.
Si oui, une image noire cela peut être la carte qui n'est pas réglé sur le bon standard ou la bonne entré (sinon on devrait voire des parasite).
Jette un oeil à : /usr/share/doc/ivtv-0.2.0_rc3
Sinon je peux toujours te retrouver les URL qui m'avaient dépannées.
En tous cas ne te décourage pas, c'est pas la carte TV la plus simple à installer à mon avis. |

je te remercie maintenant j'ai des parasites noir avec mplayer ne suivant ton code
je ne pense pas que le probleme vienne de l'antenne qui marche tres bien sur la tv juste a coté |

Bien il ne te reste plus qu'a changer la fréquence.
ptune-ui.pl ne fonctionne pas ?
Sinon le script associer au module le fait en appelant /usr/bin/ivtvctl (et non /bin/ivtvctl  )
Pour en savoir plus :

Chez moi ivtvctl -r 11252 me donne TF1 à chaque démarrage.
Le chiffre est la fréquence en Mhz * 16 (703,250 Mhz * 16 = 11252)
ptune-ui.pl ne fait rien d'autre, il a simplement une table de correspondance entre les canaux et les fréquences en fonction de chaque normes/pays. Le plus simple est que tu trouve les fréquences de chez toi. |

Bien la, je sais pas. Si tu as de la neige c'est que c'est bon. Reste à changer la fréquence mais bon il me semble qu'il y a plusieurs variante de tuner.
