Bonjour,
j'ai un tout nouveau ADM64 et je viens de tout recompiler avec le kernel gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.9-14 mais j'ai un problème avec le module de mon modem speedtouch.
J'ai suivi le howto en français mais quand je fait la commande
j'obtiens "fatal: error inserting speedtch: input/output error"
UPDATE: voici ce que donne dmesg: "drivers/usb/misc/speedtch.c: unusable with this kernel!".
Une idée?

car dans l'autre version anglophone, il disait que certains trucs n'etaient plus a jour et qu'il fallait se baser sur le nouveau Howto

je te dis ça plus tard car je ne suis pas chez moi.
Je me suis basé sur le vieux mais je pense pas que ce soit lié car c'est un problème du module speedtch et les 2 howto l'utilise. |

L'ancien HOWTO anglophone sur lequel s'est base zdra a l'air deprecated, j'ai envoye un PM a zdra pour voir si il avait pris cela en compte, mais je n'ai pas encore eu de reponse !

Merci mais c'est bien celui là que j'ai suivi maintenant mais cela ne change rien. Quand j'arrive à l'étape où il faut connecter le modem au port USB, hotplug veut charger le module speedtch et la même erreur se produit. |

Oui, oui, comme tout mes autres modules (ppp, pppoa, atm, emu10k1..) qui eux fonctionnent correctement. |

OK merci, c'est aussi ce que je me disais. Pour finir j'en ai trop mare de ce modem speedtouch et je me suis trouvé un modem ETH en solde pour 10. J'espère que celui la sera facile à utiliser.  |

ben un modem eth, de base, tu branches, t'installes rp-pppoe et ca marche !
enfin, faut aussi avoir les differents supports ppp dans le kernel, dont ppp over ethernet !
