Hi Guys!
I´ve emerged INN and configured. When i will start the daemon i get a segmentation fault! This happened on different machines!
It doesn´t matter if i do this by executing the original script ofo INN or the runscript of gentoo ebuild.
What´s going wrong?
So long ...

Have you figured out what was wrong? I'm having the same problem, and it refuses to work.
I'm running Gentoo 1.4, with GCC 3.2.1, and the latest ebuild of inn. _________________ Gentoo:

Perhaps it is CFLAG sensitive? Have you tried reducing the aggressiveness of your flags? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I just took off all optimizations. Current cflags:
CFLAGS="-mcpu=i686"
It still segfaults trying to start. I checked the bug DB, and there has been a bug reported on this, so I guess we just have to wait and see what happens. _________________ Gentoo:

I´ve reported the bug (if it is one) a couple of weeks before, but till now there is no response (((((
I really like to install it on Gentoo to manage heavily frequented mailinglists!
