Has anyone got AA in GTK2 apps such as GIMP1.3, GAIM-CVS and ROX FILER?
I have xft2 installed, pango re-emerged, -GNOME, GTK2, GTK use variables, Xfree re-emerged + more (can't remember off the top of my head).
Another symptom of my problem is that the theme switcher (switch2) does not function properly. Text can be changed fine, but when messing with themes (GTK2) the preview option either looks the same or does not display anything.
Am I going to have to install gnome? I just want the GTK2 apps to look nice. |

right, for themes to work you need to have thier engines installed..
goto /usr/portage/x11-themes/ you will see lots of things called gtk-engines-XX install them all |

For AA, I believe you still have to have GDK_USE_XFT=1 set in your environment as well. _________________ Your Gentoo woll sle me sodenly!
