|
|
Hello,
I've recently upgraded from gcc 3.3.4 to gcc 3.3.5 and now encounter the following problem when trying to compile (please don't laugh) fortran programs (using Portland Group compilers):
usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/crtbegin.o: No such file: No such file or directory
make: *** [all] Error 2
I've run %> fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.4
as well as re-emerging glibc and binutils, but nothing works..
A sym link would probably provide a temp solution, but I'd rather resolve the core inconsistency, whatever that may be.
Any ideas?
Thanks |

The solution was too simple, I was expecting more complexity, the solution is:
Re-install portland Group compiler... duh |
