I have copied my whole gentoo linux to another hdd..
Now when I try to start screen it says
No more PTYS
Then it stops.... _________________ hmmmmm, gentoo. |

Are you sure it copied everything? Including the /dev directory? (Or now that its devfs, Im not sure if you need to do something special)
PTY Is a psuedo terminal, like a virtual console. Can you boot in single user mode? Try that, then try booting with a rescue disk and make sure you have a /dev directory with the pty devices in it. If not you can try running /dev/MAKEDEV to recreate all the devices.

I have copied the /dev folder....
Linux wouldnt start without the /dev folder..
I copied all the folders with "cp-Rvd -/..folders.. /bla/" _________________ hmmmmm, gentoo. |
