|
|
Hello,
I'm trying to change from debian to gentoo and read the beginnings of the installation instructions - so this is my first installation try. I started from an up-to-date minimal livecd but the drivers for my Highpoint RocketRAID 454 Controller which is needed to access the HDD and also the madwifi driver for my atheros WLAN-Card are not included in the kernel or as a module... Because the Kernelsources are also not included I ran in problems! Is there any way to compile the drivers or to get the drivers compiled for the Kernel on the live cd (2.6.9-gentoosomething..)? |
