Hello, ok using one of the guides on setting up replacement mail server, from what i gather once you have created .maildir in user home dir procmail will create sub dir as needed, ie from procmailrc recipies.
However i trying to set this up for more then one user and the user are not technically aware so subscribing to new folders will be headach.
The current server i have setup is with mandrake and i could create the standard filtered folders in the /etc/skel/.maildir and so when setting up new accounts they were automatically created in users home dir and thus when setting up email client i could just subscribe to folders without having to wait for mail to arrive and procmail create folders which is what seems to be case now.
Now if i try the same command used with mandrake to create sub dir it does work
Code: |
maildirmake++ -f Personal Maildir
|
Have tried .maildir instead of Maildir
Is it still possible to create sub dir in /etc/skel/.maildir ?
