Hi everyone!!, im havin some troubles with gentoo
The firs problem is this:
Every time i boot my lap top (toshiba satellite S155 model) it start with the text, something like you didnt install your kernel with DEVFS suport, look how to at www.gentoo.org/doc/build.hmlt, off course i did but i didnt find it.
Second problem, after this kernel problem it appears on screen, fsck could not correct all errors manual repai needed,
give root pwd or ctrl c to start normally, i did my fsck and f2sck, and it doesnt have mistakes, and continue with the starting,
third problem, it appears something like somo local file system failed to mount.
And then normally start with line code, and i first thought maybe is nothing, then i sayd well lets compile gnome with xscreensaver for a beauty gui, and it started well, compiling the 180 packages,but then, like 3 hours later it appears the errors;
first a lot of errors at gif2ps,
then said [all-recursive] Eroor1
!!Eroor: media -libs/giflib-4.1.0-r3 Failed
!!src_compile, Line 29, Exitcode 2
!!emake failed.
PLEASE HELP ME :( I REALLY NEED TO HAVE THIS COMPUTER WORKING, AND IM DESESPERATED.
THANK U.

First thing, seperate your post up into paragraphs so people can see your individual problems.
What stage did you install gentoo?
