Oggi ho aggiornato vim alla versione 6.3-r4
mi sono accorto che sotto x, se tramite una shell accedo ad un file, la visualizzazione è tragica!
(esempio di un pezzo di html)

Considera però che ho usato vim da un anno e mezzo a ieri senza pronblemi.
Inoltre è strano il fatto che sotto bash si visualizzi tutto perfettamente, mentre sotto x no.
Ma non è finita: mi sono accorto che il comando syntax on non funziona più (ovvero un codice in html che prima era riconosciuto in colori diversi, ora è grigio per il testo e bianco per ogni tag) e neanche il tasto end ha più la funzione di portare il cursore alla fine della riga. |

Sotto X intendi che lo lanci tramite gvim ?
Cmq prova a reinstallare un'altra versione, magari quella precedente che ti funzionava...io uso la versione 7
Oppure prova a creare un file ~/.vimrc con le tue opzioni...

cambia solo la visualizzazione della finestra che ha una barra grigia informativa in basso, ma null'altro.
Caratteri strani al posto dei tag originari, )dm~ alla fine di ogni file e la mancanza assoluta della sintassi colorata sono rimasti |

Controlla nella dir di installazione di vim di avere tutti i file e dir, ftplugin ecc

Occhio che aterm non supporta caratteri Unicode, che sia quello?

Ti ringrazio. Penso sia quello il problema. Come potrei risorverlo? Non ho neanche idea del perché si sia mostrato solo ora...
inoltre, ma questo non penso sia legato a unicode, i tag non sono visualizzati con alcun colore se non il bianco. Che riconosca i tag è evidente, ma non c'è più la distinzione (da notare che quando ho provato con xterm il codice è distinto da colori diversi, ma non sotto bash in modalità testuale). |
