|
|
Hello,
I have problems with my wireless USB card.
To start, I know my drivers a re working properly and everything so that is not an issue.
When I start my computer with the card plugged in all seemd to go normal, the module autoloads but as soo as the startup process goes to start net.eth0, the card just keeps flashing constantly and will not connect to a network. And after I am into a console I cannot get it to connect for the life of me with /etc/init.d/net.eth0 restart.
Now on the other hand, when the card is not plugged in during the boot process, the module loads ok and when it gets to loading the net.eth0 it fails immediatly. But that is not a problem cause after that fails, I then plug in the device and do a /etc/init.d/net.eth0 restart and vua-la...it works perfectly. I do not know what in the hell is causing this. Someone please HELP??!!??
I have tried coldplug and it still doesnt work.
Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
JT |

Hmm, much better now but please post the relevant messages from the logs.

Hello,
I could not find any relevant log information. The logs dont start until I am loggined into the console. If there a way I can log my entire boot process? Then I could post here.
And yes, I did file the bug report. After searching the forums, I could not find an answer so I though that maybe it it a bug.
Thanks,
JT |
