I've been "hard" at work making a nice Gentoo wallpaper trying to mix Tux and the Gentoo logo in some clever way.
I started off by drawing a real life raw sketch of the Tux i had in mind. I then scanned the image and colorized it using The Gimp. After that i imported the nifty Gentoo logo and added the "Gentoo Linux - the power of choice" catch frase and some nice blue background to fix it all up.
Feel free to use this on your own Gentoo desktop. Comments are more than welcome, since these comments are my inspiration for starting out on some other creative adventure.
Hope you like it  Other resolutions will be made available upon request.

But is this the "official" tux? It looks a bit on the fat side to me...

Heh, no, it's my very own handcrafted version of Tux I wanted him to look somehow like a bowling pin - and i believe i succeeded  |
