i'm looking for a simple x-audio player which does nothing but playing a soundfile and exits when the file's finished. it's for the default-application to be used, when i click on a soundfile. it should open a window (a progress bar would be a nice feature), play the song and nothing more. i don't want the song to be appended to the xmms-playlist, neither to replace it. just play one song, so i can decide if i want to put it in the playlist or not. i could start any commandline-player in a shell, but i would prefer a nice window 
for now i'm using kaboodle, but i would like to have something smaller, without kdelibs. alsaplayer is quite good, but i don't know how to force it to exit after the song.
anyone has an idea?

just for completeness and for people watching this thread: i didn't find anything and finally wrote it by myself, using gstreamer and gtk... if anyone is interested, please contact me.
