emerge sync rsync1.se.gentoo.org

can i change the rsync im using?
instead of just #emerge sync
i can write for example
#emerge sync rsync1.se.gentoo.org

beacuse, man this is really slow...
i have open up the 873 port, a bit faster, but still its really slow.
it should go alot faster(?)

is this possible? how do i do it?

/etc/make.globals has an entry
SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"

I don't know if it helps overwriting it in /etc/make.conf to point to your ultra fast rsync server.
