Well, when I had some trouble compiling the latest gentoo-sources kernel (gentoo-sources-2.4.28-r7), I became confused and searched google for the kernel... But came up short. Thoroughly confused now, I searched the gentoo forums, again coming up short. I just now searched through gentoo-portage.com and again I cannot find any trace of this kernel... So what the hell exactly is going on here?

Its not so much the kernel not compiling that bothers me, as I compiled a 2.6 kernel just fine, its the fact that not only is this kernel undocumented, it also doesn't appear to exist.
