Hi,

I enabled my syslog to receive network messages with the -r option, and now all the syslog messages from my VoIP-ATA (192.168.1.36) show up in the /var/log/messages. I already studied the manpage about syslogd and the configuration file, however I seem to be too stupid to understand this.

What I'd like to do is feed all messages from the network device (192.168.1.34) to a separate logfile.

Could anyone help me with this little problem and tell me the appropriate entry for /etc/syslog.conf? These would really be great! I already tried:
192.168.1.34 /var/log/sipura.log

but that didn't help.

Thanks a lot for every hint

Marc
