So I've been playing around trying to get link aggregation to work. I think I got it working on 2 NICS but when I try three I get lots of dropped packets. Does the number of links have to be symetrical, like the number of CPU's? Does anyone have experience with this?

Hi,

At least with cisco switches it's possible to use anything between 2-8 interfaces for a Etherchannel.
Did you verify the switch configuration already?

The switch is a D-link, and I did verify the conf.
