How to print to Samsung ML-1210?

First off, my apologies if this isn't the right place to put forward this question; if someone knows of a better forum, on this site or elsewhere, please let me know.

My problem: I can't print to my Samsung ML-1210 printer. When I plug my printer into my USB hub, it creates a device at /dev/usb/lp0. I'm going on the assumption that that means the right kernel modules are installed. However, when I run the command:
