i 've got hacked?

Hi all i want to ask u about a strange situation i have with my box
Yesterday and today every time i get in my box i see that "something" attempts to read or write in my floppy drive where i have setup my grub.I addmit that i didn't get so seriously security in mine gentoo box.Also i connect to the internet throw an ethernet i setup with 2 frients of mine with adsl connection we have and the past 2 days my internet connection is rather slow.I don't use ssh.All the other things is normal.Any ideas?
