Ok, so after a week of fighting with kernel options I finally have gentoo installed on my machine (it didn't like my SATA drives). I've got a new problem now though, I installed x, gdm, and fluxbox yesterday and set them all up, everything works great except my usb devices all shutoff part way through boot. If I pull them and plug them back in I get them back so it's workable but not exactly desireable.
I have USB support for my mouse/keboard on the grub menu, I have USB support while it's starting the kernel, but just before it starts checking everything (all the OK's flying by) my lights on my keboard and mouse go out and they stop responding.
I'm assuming that it might be something I set up in my xorg config as it only started happening after installing xorg, but I'm not sure what. Anyone have any ideas? |

Yeah, it's enabled. Everything was working with it too, until I emerged xorg so I'm assuming the problem has something to do with that but I'm not sure how to fix it, if there's any information that would be helpful here just let me know and I'll dig it up. |
