|

Humm, this is a fun problem with a Via EPIA-MII motherboard.
OK, I am running a 2.6.10 kernel with only one patch software-suspend-2.1.7-for-2.6.10. The whole goal is to get "hibernate" to work with the onboard CF card. This is proving tricky.
I have PCMCIA and ide-cf support compiled into the kernel, but I think software suspend loads before the PCMCIA and ide-cf support loads. So when I boot, the system software-suspend complains that it cant find the target partition for the hibernate image. This means I cant resume from the onboard CF. Any one have any ideas?
Here is my kernel config.

I think that's a tall order -- indeed, software-suspend loads very early.
Have you tried the swsusp2 mailing lists? They might laugh at you initially, but if you want to hack some code ... _________________ Personal overlay | Simple backup scheme |

Hum, looked more closely at the output from dmesg, It looks like I have to do some code hacking. I dont think the people from swsusp2 will laugh at me, the hard disk takes 5 seconds to spin up, and I am at swsusp2 in sub 4. |
