The schedule says that 2005.0 was supposed to be released in Feb. Anyone know how the project is coming along? |

I believe it's in beta right now... It looks like it will not make the release date of 2/28 since Monday is almost over!

Is the 2005.0 profile ok to use? I tried it once but I had some other issues at the same time so I went back to 2004.3. |

2005.0 is not ok to install on yet. I've heard success stories of switching over once installed, but frankly, you should just wait until they release an official guide (if they do), or at least until the necessary changes like unmasking the 2.6 gentoo-sources kernels are made to the whole portage tree.
A few architectures are still finishing up, and a release will be coming shortly.
