I start a terminal session and when taping

"k [tab]", it not autocomplete to kate i must do a "/usr/kde/3.4/bin/kate"

should i need to link all kde software ???

What is the output of
Code:
echo $PATH

If /usr/kde/3.4/bin is missing, you shoud add it in /etc/env.d/47kdepaths-3.4 and then issue these commands (the first one as root, and the second one as your regular user):

source /etc/profile
