Hi,

I have posted this before (several weeks I think) but I received no reply, so after taking another look at the system in question I thought I would post another request for help.

Overview:
Single system running openssh(3.9_p1-r1), single nic (eth0)

Problem:
Connecting to another system from this machine works perfectly, connecting to the system appears to work perfectly for a period of time (anything from 2 minutes to 2 hours measured so far) then the connection to the system drops. After going to the other system, as far as the system is concerned the nic is still working and the ssh connection is still active however you cant even ping google from the system. Restarting sshd doesnt help but restarting net.eth0 fixes the problem.

I can provide any logs / config files needed to help solve this problem (as its driving me crazy!)

Thanks,

Nimir

This sounds more like a problem with your network driver than an openssh screwup.
