Pouvez vous me dire comment supprimer proprement un package précédemment installé ?

par exemple, j'ai installé Pureftpd avec la commande :

emerge -Davu pureftpd

A présent je voudrais retirer Pureftpd de mon systeme, comment faire ?
quelle commande taper ?

et pour info, -D et -u ne servent pas à grand chose pour l'install d'un paquet précis

Le -C pour info correspond à --unmerge.
Donc emerge --unmerge paquet :)
