Hello there people,
My problem is the this:
When I try to emerge Gnome, the process crashes during the compile of pango, with the following error:

The version number was definitly correct. I just can't remember it now as I'm on another computer.
The freetype image directory seems to be empty, athough I unmerged and remerged it to check wether or not something is put there during installation, which turned out to be true. emerge is creating a symbolic link there.
The problem occurs not only with pango, but also with KDE. Haven't been able to figure at what component of KDE it is, though.
All this seems to me like a problem with the freetype ebuild, but I have no way of fixing it, or even narrowing it down.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
