do you have dual procs? I tried using -j3 for MAKEOPTS on a single proc system and ran into errors until I changed it

| im using distcc to compile, i got the error with distcc first, then i tried without distcc and got the same problem =/ |

Sorry, I dont have any experience with distcc, but if you try to compile without distcc, you should change MAKEOPTS to "-j2"
