well i ge tthrough alot of emerge system, i get to about binutils, and out of nowhere it fails. Code: | checking for catalogs to be installed... fr tr sv es id da pt_BR de

do you have dual procs? I tried using -j3 for MAKEOPTS on a single proc system and ran into errors until I changed it _________________ Linux User 355087 |

im using distcc to compile, i got the error with distcc first, then i tried without distcc and got the same problem =/ |

Sorry, I dont have any experience with distcc, but if you try to compile without distcc, you should change MAKEOPTS to "-j2" _________________ Linux User 355087 |
