Configuring SSH

how would i make it so that ssh uses my ath0 device instead of eth0?

Huh? What does SSH have in common with interface name?

have you gone through the config?

/etc/ssh/sshd_config

I don't remember seeing a setting in the man page for sshd_config to set sshd to bind to an interface.

what i am trying to do is have ssh use my ath0 (wireless) instead of eth0. thanks

I believe ssh will bind to what ever active network interface you have running.

You could bind it to the IP address of ath0 by just editing the sshd configuration
