Hi all,
is it possible to redirect the window of a running application to another x-server (for example to restart my own xorg)?
Best,

Sure X applications are clients that connect through a Xserver which runs 90% of the time on the same computer.
Google for X over SSH! _________________ Turns out the pony only had one trick. |

I mean on runtime!
for example:
export DISPLAY=:0.0
xeyes &
# here I want to do something to bring xeyes to foreignhost.foo.com:1 without killing xeyes before. |

I think that's possible if the applications supports this feature, I believed xlib has a function for this ... _________________ Turns out the pony only had one trick. |
