hola acabo de instalar xorg-x11 pero... al hacer un startx me sale esto...

Yo diria que no lo ha hecho
Puedes generar un archivo de configuracion para Xorg de forma automatica con el comando
esto te creará en /root/xorg.conf.new un archivo que te sirve como punto de partida.
Personalmente te recomiendo que mejor uses el siguiente comando y respondas a las preguntas en función de tu hardware

keva si sk al intentar configurarlo tb sale el mismo error, ya he tenido xorg más veces corriendo correctamente...
creo que debe ser algun bug de esa versión por lo que he leido lo que pasa es que no consigo solucionarlo.... |

Ujum otro más que se jorobo el xorg Je je je je je
El problema de bug que ya esta reportado hace algun tiempo y el problema esta en las USE que tienes que por lo visto has habilitado el hardened y esto da problemas con el gcc y el glibc.
Solución practica?

mmm, perdona pero como has llegado a la conclusión de que el problema es ese ??? Simple curiosidad, aunque no lo parece...
Solo lo comento por si las moscas, no vaya a ser que recompile todo sin mas y no le sirva de nada

je je je je ya pase por ese trauma hace un par de semanas interminables sin X je je je y me di una lectura de inmumerables post reportando el mismo problema je je je je Todos esos post hacen referencia a lo mismo en inclusive ya alguien ha sacado un tutorial al respecto hasta que solucionen el problema.
Puedes dar un search en el foro solo colocando Code: | Duplicate symbol __i686 | y lee como quieras, sentado, parado, acostado, con refrigerios ó pasando hambre que yo ya lo hice de todas las maneras imaginables posibles. _________________ Salu2

Sip ya esta reportado hace algun tiempo y lo puedes ver en los post del search. Todo esto viene a raiz del tutorial de instalación de Gentoo que esta en el foro, ya que por lo general solo copias y pegas las USE que estan colocadas alli y no nos dimos cuenta de que estaba la hardened incluida. Yo para evitar tonterias futuras estoy recompilando el sistema solo con las USES más básicas posibles. _________________ Salu2

Yo me acuerdo que tuve un error parecido al tuyo y era porque utilizaba la USE hardened. Prueba a ver si a ti tb te pasa eso.

Ok seria bueno que dijeras que hiciste y luego editaras el post inicial y colocaras (Solucionado), te recomiendo utilizar el formato [TEMA] Descripción problema (estado) en este caso seria
[Xorg]Duplicate symbol __i686(Abierto) y una vez resuelto, lo editas y cambias a
[Xorg]Duplicate symbol __i686(Solucionado)

Hola gentooza
He acualizado mi sistema y al intentar arrancar xorg, obtengo el mismo error que el amigo kelvin273.
He recompilado de la siguiente forma como comentais mas arriba de este hilo

pero sigue sin funcionar y obtengo el mismo error.
Yo en mis USE no tenia puesto hardened desde un principio, aun asi, recompile de la forma anterior, pero como ya he dicho, sin solucionar el problema.

He vuelto a recompilar todo lo anterior, pero esta vez quitando tambien el USE pie, pero sigo obteniendo el mismo problema.
Ya no se por donde tirar.
Alguien puede echarme una mano?
