I am having trouble getting the Samba SWAT admin tool working in webmin. I can access it, but when i click the commit button, it just creates an empty smb.conf file. Even if there was stuff in the file before, after i have clicked Commit, the smb.conf file is empty.
IfI run xinetd and access swat that way (http://localhost:901) it works fine and saves the configuration correctly.
Im using Webmin 1.150, ive tested it with 1.140 and have the same issue.
Samba is version samba-3.0.2a-r2.
Hope someone can help! |

Do you have the hosts allow option on in your smb.conf? If so turn it off! and it will work |
