I have a SmartLink winMODEM. I installed slmodem package and configured everything. It works, but it works really strange. I use 2 internet providers for websurfing. Provider A for anytime access and provider B for nightsurfing. The problem is that I can connect to B without any problems, but I never can connect to A. In wINDOZE everything works fine with A and with B, but in Linux when I connect to A then the modem "sounds" strange, it seems to me (from the character of sound in wINDOZe and in Linux) that my modem can't "hear" suitful answer and repeats it's "question" again and again (at the end I get "NO CARRIER" everytime).
Any ideas what can be the cause of such a strange bug? |

The settings that allow you to connect to the respective ISPs - not the account info, but everything else.
Modem inits, line settings, interface config... _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
