LiveCD1.4rc2 boot hangs at keymap

Hi there...
I've got a big problem installing Gentoo... I had no problems when i installed it on my pc, but my laptop hangs everytime when i reach the keymap selection screen. I've tried to disable acpi, apic and scsi but without avail. =( When I boot without any kernel parameters the installation hangs when detecting BusLogicblabla... What am i doing wrong? Does anyone know a solution?

I have the same keyboard problem, desperately looking for an easy solution that doesnt require I learn how to create a boot cd.
