Ok, I've gotten mythtv running fine. But when using nuvexport, I get the error "ERROR: Cannot open A/V stream".
After chasing through the scripts, it turns out it's avidemux2 which is not working.
Removed the redirection of the stdout and stderr gives this output from avidemux2:

So for some reason, it's trying to connect to display ":13.0", which isn't running, I don't think. I only have one display, ":0.0". It might be something related to framebuffers, but I'm not sure.
So I forced the script to use ":0.0", and it shows up on my desktop now, but it crashes completely now:

That was with avidemux version 2.0.36
So I upgraded to 2.0.38_rc1, and now I get a different stack trace:

I should add, I did see the 'XXX Problem reading file, expect crash XXX!!!' part in the log.
But the file is world readable, and on a local ext2 partition, how can that not be readable? |

I have the exact same problem (I tried forcing DISPLAY=:0.0 and it crashed for me too)
It does work as root, so you can do that until someone figures it out
Edit: Okay I think it works as root because it cant find Xvfb and falls back on X. So if you just put in
Code: |
MODE=X
export DISPLAY=:0.0
|
somewhere after the if statements in /usr/bin/mpeg2cut it should work fine |

Where after which IF statements? All of them? Some of them? At the end of the file?
Please be more specific. |
