Missing file after emerge mod_php

Hello,

after emerging dev-php/mod_php-4.3.0-r2 I was missing the following file:

usr/lib/php/Crypt/HCEMD5.php

This file is needed by net-www/horde. Are there any reasons why this file was deleted?

Same problem here.

I think the problem is in the mod_php package.

I'll find a little more but you can go through zend mailing lists.

Let me know if you find the solution.

The problem is this:

We have version 2.1 of Horde package in portage (masked).
In that version the horde team was using a function called Crypt_HCEMD5 that was provided in file HCEMD5.php that you mention and was distributed with php.

Now that function and the file is deprecated (though not listed in the php Changelog). So Horde is broken.

Solution: get a more up to date version than 2.1 -> Problem, not in portage.

I'll try to contact the horde package mantainer.
