Compaq Evo N1015v, acpi dma and sound

Hi...

I read on a miling list that thi notebook have some problem with dma and sound.

I have two option:

kernel 2.4.20 + Ali southbridge patch + Sound patch + acpi patch

kernel 2.4.21-pre3-ac4 that can enable dma and sound and maybe use APM

Is possible to patch an -ac kernel with the acpi patch? APM will work fine or not?

I tried kernel 2.4.21-pre3-ac4, DMA works, sound works,standard kernel acpi doesn't work.

I can't use Alsa driver because the network adapter didn't work if the system load the alsa module
