Logitech Cordless Click

Hi, does anyone know how to set up a Logitech Wireless Cordless Click? It has the 8 buttons in all (4 buttons + scroll wheel +tilt). Is there any way to get the other buttons working?

Thanks. The MX-1000 is much higher-end than my mouse, but I hope I can still glean some useful info.
