(I wasn't sure where to post this, but the drivers are to do with hardware so I thought here was good)

The bug in the 6629 Nvidia drivers as fixed here http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=477802, is something that affects me, when using the unpatched official drivers, and when using the Gentoo ebuild, but the patched official ones seem to solve the problem.

However the official ones bring about a whole host of problem with different paths and opengl libraries, so how can I get the patched version of 6629 in ebuild form?

Are you sure of this? I ask because I actually get the mentioned of AGP memory errors with the portage drivers, but not with the official drivers...

Cheers.

Might I still have the unpatched one because it's under the unstable ~x86?
