kernel + tv tuner

i have a btt898 i think it is.( ati tv wonder) i've looked on the forums for issues but none answer my question. in the kernel what options do i have to enable for this to work. and module or direct into the kernel? and to get hotplug to work right i need to have that enabled too right?

any advice is appreciated any forwarnings as well heh. this is my first tv tuner install. so if you say just install this module please clarify on where in the kernel it's under. thanks
