K3b (0.11.1 crashes when I try to burn ANY cd (image, data, audio), but works fine for DVDs.
I updated to .20 and everything worked but it didnt find my drives ^^
What could be causing this? I ran it from CLI and it didnt give any errors, one thing is that libquicktime wouldn't install when I was emerging it, so I did USE="-quicktime" emerge k3b
Anyone?

Always tell your kernel version, if you have burning troubles.
What says (I suppose you use an ATAPI-Burner):
# cdrecord dev=ATA --scanbus

I'm using the 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 kernel
I booted into root's account and everytyhing is FINE (I have the version that crashes when I try to create a CD project in my user's account). The link didnt work help

I enabled SCSI CD-ROM support in the kernel and it works now. |
