 I also emerged kdegraphics to have the setting TAB in Control center but an error keeps coming :

Code:

!Unable to initialize camera. Check your port settings & camera connectivity & try again.

 I tryed in both modes PTP & Normal Mode.

So this what i've built in my 2.6.5 kernel :

Code:

USB support

CONFIG_USB : yes
CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS : yes
CONFIG_USB_OHCI_HCD : yes
CONFIG_USB_UHCI_HCD : yes
CONFIG_USB_STORAGE : yes
CONFIG_USB_HID : yes
CONFIG_USB_HIDINPUT : yes

SCSI device support

CONFIG_SCSI_PROC_FS : yes
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SD : yes
CONFIG_CHR_DEV_SG : yes

I don't think u need it but this what i get about USB when lspci
Code:

0000:00:0c.0 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 41)
0000:00:0c.1 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 41)

 So I really don't know what to do to make this work. Maybe I'm missing something in the kernel ? I don't know.

Any help will be appreciated. :P :)

Oh and by the way when i Plug the camera to the usb it goes automatically ON and shows a little logo that the USB connection is ready and also it shows : 1 Pb . I don't know what that means cause the manual that i have is in Japanese. Maybe Pb stand for Problem. I've no clue.

Thanks

I use digikam as a front-end for gphoto2 for my Canon G2. Works perfectly.
