qmail as an smtp gateway

Hi ppl.
At my work, we have a software called Webshield witch is used to filter email messages with antivirus and then forward them to and email server. how can i configure a system with opensource software that does the same thing???

Have a look at clamav in combination with a MTA (exim or postfix or ...)

I use, qmail with clamav + spamassassin @home..... but i'm open to more sugestions.

Anyone can point me some documentation on how to configure qmail to do this kind of "job"?
