I am at college and would like send files to friend using apache (gaim hates me) but I can't accept incoming connections (or soething) on that port. Is there any tunnelling software that I can use to get around this?

If you can ssh to his box, you can scp the files. If he can ssh to yours, you can setup an ssh tunnel, but I would think you'll have the same problem with him sshing to you as with apache.
