I'm in my university that have wireless internet connection with EAP-MSCHAP v2 and WEP encription. On windows all works well, but in linux all works well too but when I run dhcp it can't get an IP. I'm using ndiswrapper for driver to my ASUS WL-100G with bradcom chipset and xsupplicant for EAP autentication.
I've gone talk to the person in charge who's have a Fedora Core 3 working with a centrino wireless card. He had shown me that i've sucessfuly logged in and the DHCP server was in windows, but if he can, so can I.
I'm using this script:
modprobe ndiswrapper > the driver is loaded and the LED turns on
ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig wlan0 allmultiup
iwconfig wlan0 essid e-U mode managed enc 000000000
xsuplicant -i wlan0 -dasic -f >auntentication runs fine
sleep 1
dhcpcd wlan0 > last's forever until timeout
I've used ethereal to find what's going on in the network, and theres no response to my DHCP broadcast request to 255.255.255.255 _________________ Se a vida não te sorri... Faz-lhe cocegas. |
