|
|
Hi - for a research project at my uni i need to stream from a webcam over the net.
I was thinking something USBish, but I do also have a BT878 TV Tuner card sitting in the box.
I am a major novice linux user (i can use it okay - but installing it.....) - e.g. my sound still sounds like crap under KDE. Anyways - therefore it needs to be easy to install.
Is anyone able to recommend some (lots of if possible) webcams that
1)*Are EASY to setup
1a)*Are still available in the market
2)*Are cheap
3)*Deliver as high resolution as possible under linux
3a)*Ideally deliver these images uncompressed (this is obviously in conflict with 3)
3b)*Use Video4Linux
4)*Perhaps even work under Winblows
Thanks in advance Martin
