You should not be getting any coasters at all unless your drive is bad, you use RW media, or you use very cheap media. I have not had a single coaster in the last 100+ burns. And I am using reitek media which is not very expensive. I bought my last 100 pack of DVD+R for about $36.00 US. _________________ John

My burner's declining quality I link to the uneven surface and whatever stress/damage that caused.
Alternatively, I suppose, maybe the burner is just going to craps and I'm making excuses for it... but it has been noticably better since placed back on the ground directly.
The discs are BenQ and quite good quality. I had one coaster in 50 prior to the problems detailed in this post. |
