if it doesn't work in XMMS try looking at the plugins
Code: | emerge -av xmms-alsa |
if you got this look in the XMMS-Preferences that you got XMMS-alsa as standard output plugin _________________ That young girl is one of the least benightedly unintelligent organic life forms it has been my profound lack of pleasure not to be able to avoid meeting.

i tried the following:
emerge -av xmms-alsa
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating dependencies /
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=sys-devel/automake-1.7*". |

I had a similar problem a while back. Did you emerge xmms-cdread by any chance? If you didn't then emerge that and select AudioCD Reader in the input plugins section and make sure the enable plugin is selected. That might fix your problem. If it doesn't let me know and I can try to troubleshoot with you. Good luck. |
