Hey all,
What is EVMS? my machine complains that it's not on, and revdep-rebuild complains that there is no libevms.so
revdep-rebuild also complains that I don't have libdevmapper.so. What is this?
Thanks!

EVMS is IBMs Enterprise Volume Manaement System. I don't know much about it, but I ran into the same problem installing Gentoo SELinux 2004.3.
The solution for me was to:
Code: | emerge evms
emerge unmerge evms |
You could try unmerging it first and see what happens. I only emerged it because I originally thought I might need it for SELinux after I got those error messages. |

that actually worked quite well.
why you have to merge it first is beyond me.
thanks! |
