Hi everybody,
I've set up a VM and gentoo starts booting from a CD. After I choose either gentoo or gentoo-nofb kernel it starts booting up to the point where it seems to hang:
.....
Mounting filesystems...
<mounts the cd>
Determining the root device...
Filling tmpfs...
Mounting squashfs filesystem...
Filling filesystem...
Booting...
<and hangs forever>[/url]
Any ideas? Thanks! |

I would suggest you to download 2004.3-r1 minimal livecd.
The problems with vmware are solved there afaik. |
