Some no apparent reason, when a user (mac os 9.x) tries to copy a folder from or to the server, mac os says "you don't have permission". I tried chmodding 777 some files, but the problem remains.
Anyone ever experienced something like this (with netatalk) ? Logs say nothing, just don't know what to do!
Thanks in advance |

I have experienced similar problems when trying to copy folders to/from my atalk server. When copying one file or even a handful of files at a time, it works properly, but when doing a folder or even a large amount of files, it just doesn't happen. I haven't figured it out yet. I also get interesting behaviour on Mac OS 9 when I go a certain level of folders into a home directory (/home/squallbsr/x/x/x --> squallbsr:x:x:x) I get flickering and reloading of the files, the further I go in nested folders, the worse it gets to the point where the files are unusable on OS9. Just a warning, there is probably bugs in the netatalk software which needs addressed. _________________ Bryan Rehbein
